The Experience
From our first conversation together to the champagne pop at the end of the night, my goal is to make you feel comfortable, confident, and proud of all that you have accomplished. I graduated college during the 2020 pandemic and didn’t get the graduation experience that I’d been dreaming of for years. College is such a transformative time in your life, your photos should reflect that growth and hard work you put in! I aim to capture images that let you move freely and show off your personality, no stiff poses here! Our time together will be just like hanging out with a good friend. We’ll chat all about your dreams and ambitions, and get some cute-ass photos along the way.

I do not provide RAW or unedited images as they do not represent my work as a professional photographer. I carefully select your photos that are the best quality based on many factors such as hair moving, facial expressions, focus, and much much more to provide you with the highest quality images possible!

I do not provide proofing galleries. All photos delivered in your final gallery will be chosen by me. I have specific standard that a photo needs to meet to make sure your gallery is absolutely PERFECT! But don’t worry, I promise you’ll get the best shots ;)

While I will travel out of state for couples and weddings, I try to keep my seniors in the state of Virginia. I primarily photograph students at Virginia Tech, James Madison University, Liberty University, and Roanoke College. If you attend a different college and are still interested in a session with me, send me an inquiry and I’ll see if I can make it to you!

Yes! Unfortunately we won’t be able to pop any champagne but I’ll be happy to bring some sparkling apple cider instead ;)

I typically start editing your photos within 24 hours after your photoshoot and I always deliver sneak peeks within a few days of your session! My average turnaround time to deliver your photos is around 3-4 weeks (sometimes even less than that!) However, turnaround time will always differ based on the type/length of session, as well as my editing queue at that time.

Depending on the package you choose you will be allowed 1-2 outfits. For example: some clients will wear a cute dress to their session and bring a sweater with their major on it to change into. Feel free to wear/bring any outfit you feel shows off your personality and makes you feel confident! Your cap and gown is not considered an “outfit” and can be brought to your session (in fact I highly encourage it)

Megan is so talented at what she does and at created an atmosphere of excitement and support. I was nervous for my graduation photos, but as soon as we met with her in person, it was like working with a friend. She took photos of both my roommate and I and our family and friends adore them! Megan was great at directing our movements, letting us know how to avoid stains on our regalia, and had even experimented with, and perfected, the shape and size of the champagne bottle she brought for pop pictures. We witnessed a lot of champagne pop failures on Burrus this spring and I am so thankful ours came out so well. Her knowledge on how to take graduation photos shows and I will absolutely be working with Megan again next year for my graduate school photos! - Megan G
